I disagree WRT the SuperBird.  It was a VERY limited production car, simply
enough made for homologation, basically.  It did in fact handle quite well
"stock".  Now, the Road Runner and Barracuda are a different story, but the
SuperBird was a really different story...and if you never owned one...well
;-)
