Gee eh I guess I should try to clarify this some how. ;-) Then again? ;-)

I put 10 Leica R 15mm slides and 10 CV 15mm slides on screen. They were
mixed in no special order and of varying subjects and light.

The guys had to pick which ones they thought were Leica 15 and which were
the CV 15.

They picked more CV 15 slides as Leica glass than Leica 15 as Leica glass.
Even when I first put them on the screen for preview I was surprised at the
quality of the CV slides, pleasantly so I might add. :-)

After that little event I've never thought any more about whether the slides
or B&W negs are going to be any good from either lens. So when it's time use
a super wide it's the assignment / light / subject that dictates which
camera is required and I shoot away with nary a thought of lens quality and
film results.
