I have been using it with some D76 that was ordered in for me at my local camera store. The D76 was marked 'Pro D76 for commercial and professional use only'. Either the new Tri X, the 'Pro D76' or a combination of the two has just about ruined my last film. The contrast is so fierce as to be unmanageable. Will Larsen on IRC gave me a link to the development technique for the 'Pro D76' which leaves out the continuous agitation for the first 30 seconds of development, which I normally use, in favour of 10 seconds maximum. Hopefully the new initial agitation time will correct the problem, if not I will sling it and try to get my usual D76. The bottom two shots at the following link will give you an example of the problem. http://www.geebeephoto.com/html/previews.html Got so carried away with the techno stuff I almost forgot to mention the high quality of the portrait you posted :-) - --Graham - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
