He was a great nature photographer, and an all around great guy to go shooting with, or have an image critiqued by. I enjoyed the times we were able to get together and go shooting pictures in the Rockies. I was always amazed to see his images later, from the same places I couldn't find "anything" to shoot. I will treasure the darkroom and digital prints he has given me over the years. I am sure others on this list that corresponded with George will be feeling the same loss.
