Don--

I'm an Atlantan (you know that already), but is this the part of the airport
in between the tram stops, the long sections for walking, or riding moving
sidewalks, in between the terminals?

I have a sub-list of things I photograph, one of which is how ordinary
people treat art objects with a total lack of interest. This week brings us
to the underground area between the main concourse at Atlanta Hartsfield
Airport and the A terminal. The city has acquired a goodly number of
African sculptures that are quite good in presenting a different way of
looking at the world. Unfortunately, if you take one of the trams you never
see them, and most people on the slide walk are in too much of a hurry to
notice them. Then there are individuals who think they make convenient work
spaces. This week is a roady trying to find out where the Fox Theatre is so
he can get there to set up. Art, what art?
