I believe you are taking my use of the word "lay," in the context of "giving
birth to," or "depositing in a nest" in another context. However, the twist
you're putting on it is rather funny, now that I think about it!

Next thing you know, we'll be talking about Asexual Reproduction in The
Plant Kingdom. Oh boy. ;-)
