Steve, I understand what you hare saying (been there, done that myself).

BUT ... what does the argument have to do with what is best for the 
consumer? My conclusion from the facts that you put forth is that Tom A has 
a better business plan. He can produce enough products for the market 
without all the overhead. Or ... ?
