Irreverent, yes, but irrelevant ???

Here's some of that Leica glow (flare) that you can even get with a 90mm
Summicron (old) at f8.0 with a shade/hood with the subject under a
parasol.

Ok, _I_ didn't take the picture (it's a picture of me), but I tried to
set my colleague up so avoid the flare.
