For me the subliminal photo (Leica) content lies in the fact that I always carry
a Leica. If I'm in a place which I suspect the Leica will not find acceptance, I
carry it under my jacket. Now, if I'd been at that mall and seen a father and
son harassed for wearing T's which said "Peace" I'd have swung the camera out
and began photographing the scene. And I very much suspect that I too would have
ended up having words and actions with the "authorities." I can't help but feel
that these events are all about Leica photography and its greatest photo
journalistic traditions.

I also wonder how many, heavy metal, punk and rapp (read hate / violence) T's
roamed those malls (not to mention Nike, et al).
