Nikon, Canon, Olympus all seem to be relatively secular states, but when pushed to justify the spending of billions, sorry thousands, of dollars on war, sorry, lenses, Leica uses resort to metaphysical speculation about 'the leica glow' and 'the leica mystique'. Scientific examination of these claims, especially in the case of the famous "Turin Summilux" as toted by the thirteenth Apostle, Henri, shows that the supposedly miraculous image can in fact be explained by physics but this conclusion remains disputed, particularly in Erwin's Fourteenth Epistle to the Agog, copies of which are widely available. - -- John Brownlow http://www.pinkheadedbug.com - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
