Having three or four of them (MG SU fuel pumps) in a box in my garage, and having owned an MGTD (which I don't remember who made the fuel pump for that, or if it was even electric), MGA and MGB, I know you are correct, at least for the MGA and MGB. But, I didn't say the fuel pump was made by Lucas...it didn't matter who made the fuel pump, that was not the point of that part of my comment. Obviously, you're not a romantic!
