The first one shown really worked well, but one really had to be
careful not to scar the top plate by not pulling up sufficiently.

That one was designed by the same PJ who designed the
quick disconnect shoulder strap that enabled one to keep
the Leica hidden under a jacket and still be able to get
it into action quickly.  Good stuff!

Can anyone remember the PJ's name?
