Welcome to my World - although to be fair it's really a matter of what 
you're used to.  24'" in Syracuse would not be a picnic either. Our
economy 
is built to expect snow - all those guys and gals buying pickup trucks
on 
time hoping that it snows alot so that their plow jobs pay off the 
truck.  I have a patient ( PC term: client/consumer) who makes his
living 
in the winter repairing snow blowers - he's in hog heaven this year.
