Gee, Sonny, my wife is a doctor (I am not) and she isn't all THAT
grumpy. Well, she can be a tad grumpy after a long day of surgery, but
who wouldn't be.

Ted Grant and Sandy Carter are busy preparing a book on one of my
favorite
sunjects, "Women in Medicine."

My mother was a RN, my kids' Mother is a nurse, and increasingly the
frontline caregivers are nurses.

Last week, we were at Ochsner New Orleans for an appointment for my son
Eric, and the Nurse Practicioner was the first person he saw.

When I go to the doctor, some grumpy old Doc tells me to stop what I've
been
doing to cause whatever is wrong with me.
