    Yeah - I have the 'newer' version 50 Summilux in Black Paint on an LHSA
camera. It focuses to 0.7 meters - a BIT closer, but not much - just the
same as the 'regular' 50 f/2 Summicron. It's just that the Summilux that I
purchased a few years ago (in 'the white box') has the vented hood - metal -
and has that "old nostalgic - Alfred Eisenstadt " look, which I think is
pretty cool! The f-stops and writing on it (which say Leica, not Leitz) are
in the modern type script that the current lenses use, but it still has that
flat screw on the side as the older Summilux 50's had. I use it, and some
people see it and think it's a bit quirky... but it takes wonderful photos!
