Subject: [Leica] Leica Cloth Shutter Question
From: Frank Farmer <frankandaubrey@mindspring.com>

Dear Luggers,

I have a question about an article I read in an unnamed publication about shooting photos with the sun in the background. Specifically, it read that you should use a SLR for this type photo and not a rangefinder with a cloth shutter because the sunlight may burn a hole in the cloth shutter. Is this possible? How likely is it that a M6ttl's shutter is going to be burned by the sun?

As always, thanks in advance for any responses.

Frank
