(He also bumped me from driving Temp Buell's 4.5 Ferrari at the Dodge City Races in 1956). I carry a grudge for a while. :-) I remember many years ago being offered the last GT-40 at Shelby's showroom on Aviation Blvd. in LA. At 22 kilobucks, brand new, I had to pass on it as I had just picked up my specially built Porsche from Vasek Polak Porsche, which was (almost) just down the street at 356 S Sepulveda in Manhattan Beach. Besides, the GT-40 was only right hand drive.
