I have the Voigtlander lens and am very happy with it. Build quality is
good but it doesn't have the same feel as a Leica lens. The extra stop
of the Leica would be useful at times. Image quality is excellent, there
was a review in a UK magazine that placed it almost at the same level as
the Leica offering.

Plus it has the advantage of using the same size of filters as my 35 and
50 Summicrons.

Hello All,

Does anybody have any experience with both the Leica 21 ASPH and the
Voigtlander 21? Besides the obvious cost difference, are there
noticeable differences in image and build quality? Are the owners of
the Voigtlander happy with it?

TIA,

Craig
