Build quality is good but it doesn't have the same feel as a Leica lens. The extra stop of the Leica would be useful at times. Image quality is excellent, there was a review in a UK magazine that placed it almost at the same level as the Leica offering. Plus it has the advantage of using the same size of filters as my 35 and 50 Summicrons.
