Subject: [Leica] lightmeters

This is sort of a follow on to Marc's comments. Having a selenium cell
meter in the camera bag can be very handy as the batteries never die nor are
they affected much by cold. The wide angle of acceptance makes them a fair
proxy for an incident meter.

Last, if you go to the camera flea markets most major cities have every few
months, somebody has these small meters for sale in the $10 or less range.
If you spend a little time figuring out the scale system then you can use
meters intended for other camera's. Most of these are very small, and work
pretty well in non-moctilux territory.

Oh, the booster cell for the Leicameter works pretty well and can frequently
be had for a song. Many of the newer guys at the trade shows don't have
clue what a solar cell is doing in the camera bag they just bought.
