Ernie,

>>from the world of amateurs I have found that I shoot way too many digital images and do not do proper editing whereas when I shoot traditional I am selective as which frames i scan.<<

It's also a lot faster to sit down at a light table and visually scan through pages of chromes, or even negs, than it is to review images on screen. At least it is for me. And it's a lot more enjoyable too.

When I see something I like I scan it at maximum res using my Leafscan, which does a bang up job. I've got the best of both worlds; everything on film and digital files of my best work.

Using film forces me to think a little harder each time I trigger the shutter. But I think that's a good thing.
