That sounds just like my story. I wonder how many of us followed that exact path to Leicadom. Nikons are great - but my F100 just got too automated for me - I'm suprised it couldn't do my taxes ;-]. Great camera, I just missed the ritual about it all. Wish I still had my FM2 - but that turned into my Tri-Elmar via trade. Anyway, I'm having a ball with this stuff too.
