The Leica ones have special weak springs that help them to fall off 
when you are not looking. They also have an extra wide rim so that it 
is easy for them to catch on the least little thing.

I replaced all my Leica caps with ones from Canon, Nikon and Tamron. No 
problems after that. Pentax for one uses E49 caps so try one of theirs. 
Old Canon FD lenses have the best caps with very strong springs.
