Gee using a Tom A RapidWinder I've never encountered this shooting from frame 1 to 38 with a couple of loaded M's in the bag. ;-) Sometimes manual is best! ;-) Beats the heck out of 38 blank inside the bag frames. :-) But then by the wildest of possibilities you probably could still use the roll after re-winding rather than dumping it.
