[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]Hi everibody, My "new" M3 and DR Summicron are showing an interesting condition: when I shoot at f:2 and print the negs rebate to get that thin black line around the picture, I notice that the black line on the top of the image is sharp. However, the black line on the sides and bottom of the picture is not sharp. At f:16, the black line is sharp all around. My enlarger has just been checked for parallelism and the image shows grain to the corners. Does that mean that the pressure plate is not pushing the film evenly against the aperture? My photos appear to be correctly focused but I wonder if I could get a little more sharpness (don't we all?). The real worry is focusing 90 and 135m (when I get them). Should I stop worrying?
