Hey BD, Absolutely first rate portrait.  You have gotten the lighting 
just right because it is very difficult to shoot somebody with a hat 
like that.  His expression is perfect as is the composition.

Now, since I see some five-sided oof images in the background may I 
assume this was not taken with Leica glass?  Just curious as this in no 
way detracts from this very fine photo.
