Lew - I have the M6 .72 and I wear glasses.  for me it's not easy to 
see the 28 mm lines - just able to see the 35 lines.  For me the .58 in 
Leica or the .6 for Hexar is perfect.  I rarely have used a 135 - i do 
keep around a hektor f/4.5 for fun and it only cost $79.  That's the 
reason why some of us want the .58.
