Kc,

The French, who taught us the Latin alphabet, held back on a few letters;
there is no F. So it's Phong, not Fong. The Chinese, who taught themselves
the Latin alphabet, has Fong. So now you know to tell some Vietnamese
restaurants from Chinese.

A while back, there was a Vietnamese character in Doonesbury, and his name was
Phred.

Looking forward to see you in Filadelfia. See how weird it looks ? By the
way, did the French hold back on you guys also ? twice ?)
