Most of the current Voigtlander lenses are rangefinder coupled too - in fact I think it's only the 25 and 15 that aren't. Don't know about the Canon lenses, but since there's a Canon 135mm (how good is this lens by the way?) I would expect that one at least to be OK. If you want a relatively cheap 21mm I can recommend the Voigtlander. I have shot for years with different cameras and formats but this purchase has me very excited. The help that I need is now that I have a body I need to start finding some lenses. I have been surfing some sites and they have suggested all kinds of imformation but the one question that keeps coming back to me is ....... Will an LTM lens such as an earlier Leica , Canon or the newer Voigtlander lens coupled with an M mount adaptor still hook-up with the rangefinder on my M 4-2? Now I know what you all are saying right now and that is why don't you just buy the correct lens to begin with and the simple reason is economics. Why doesn't everyone drive a BMW, same reason. I need to save up for the premium lenses and or keep my eye out for a slighly battered users, but that takes time and I want to try the new body out soon. Any imformation would be greatly appreciated and even some suggestions as to which lenses to look out for and which to stay away from. Thank you for your time and effort Chris Higgins _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
