Hi George,

Which is a very critical thing, that most people seem to confuse. The
believe that because something is sharper, it has more resolution...and that
is not a correct assumption.

The results are what is important, for the job at hand, of course. I
entirely understand that. There are a lot of "overnight" self proclaimed
"experts" on the subject...and this makes for a lot of misunderstanding and
misinformation. There are also a lot of people who "want" digital to be
their "savior". It's a funny thing. That same thing works with camera
makes too ;-)

I believe there is no one truth, in the sense of what is "better", as that
is subjective. What may work well for one person, may not for another.

But, there is reality...and I find it funny that, for some reason, with this
particular subject, people make claims that physically are not
possible...and I believe it's important to challenge, what I consider,
misbegotten claims.

I simply believe it's important when evaluating this stuff to have accurate
claims and statements, not ones with out solid footing...and blanket
claims...like so many unfortunately are. I, personally, am not on either
side...they both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Regards,

Austin
