i believe suicide doors tend to respresnt a safety hazard with respect 
to accidental opening at speed.  they would transform into enormous
airbrakes, probably causing the driver to lose control, particularly
in the more likely case that only one side were deployed.

there seems to be a great deal of hardware for sale
specifically to address the problem and dead-bold suicide doors to
ensure they  remain securely closed.

additionally, they preclude the already dangerous possibility of
bailing out of the car while in motion, if that necessity were to
arise.

suicide doors are undeniably sexy; hence at autoshows all of the manufacturers
seem to flirt with the concept.  for practical considerations, few makers are
adventurous or determined enough to translate these into reality.
