I took a picture of a male friend and his female friend in the Napoleon
House (bar and restaurant) in the French Quarter. He has been divorced for
quite some time, and she was recently divorced. I told them that I was
going to post their picture on my site, but they asked me not to as they
are from a small town in Alabama and this might generate rumors. I was a
bit embarrassed that I hadn't even considered the possibility that they
would object. But it increased my sensitivity to those possibilities.
