Thanks,Nathan, I appreciate the comments. If I had my druthers, and
either two "perfect"t children to shoot, or more light/depth of field
available,  both sets of eyes would have been tack sharp...but outside
the studio, and working fast, as the Rolling 
Stones say, "you can't always get what you want..." ;-)

At first I was a bit put off by the differential focus, but the more I 
look, the more I like this picture.

What beautiful tonality! And the composition is brilliant, with the long

diagonal shadow of the boy and dog. Just great.
