Only logical solution is to batch the ordering which lowers the relative
shipping cost.
A couple100 ft rolls of film, a few 100 sheet boxes of paper, maybe 2
or 3 of everything chemical-wise, perhaps a filter or 2, and before you
know it, that ~$30 shipping charge seems mighty small.
Compared to my town, even with the postage it's still much cheaper to
mail order, not to mention having a real selection.
Sad, but true.

Just had to pay $6©60 plus tax at local camera store for a one gallon
packet of Kodak fixer© The price seems to have really jumped© Is there a
cheap place to buy darkroom chemistry? B & H has cheaper prices but
the shipping costs are expensive too© What do most of you do?
