I USE A ROLLEI 35 WITH THE 2.8 TESSAR!  I find it better to have a light
meter than a rangefinder due to the short 40mm lens with a large depth of
field.

I do not get out of focus pictures even when I use f2.8.

One of my Rollei 35S cameras is always in my briefcase which is almost
always with me or close by.
