It's a form of artistic license.   The sound engineers almost certainly
know what a Leica really sounds like, but there'd be no point in
reprodicing that sound in a movie; hardly anyone in the audience would hear
it.    Like the Enterprise sailing by making a deep roaring sound in
Startrek.  Everyone knows that starships make no noise in space.  But only
certain people will complain about it.  ;-)
