Slobodan, thinking back some 40+ years, about the single most useful
teaching device I encountered in photo schools and seminars was the use of a
hand-held framing device (such as a 4x5 mat or a 35mm slide mount) to
isolate an image from its surroundings, as well as using it to simulate the
effect of different focal lengths.
