membership automatically disqualifies themselves for membership until they

I doubt it since no list administrator would have the resources to ascertain
whether someone's machine was virus free.
I have an excellent virus protection program that has protected me from all
email viruses thus far. It's even built into my keyboard next to the "End"
key.
