Works for me - looks like there's obviously one hell of a brush fire
approaching the barn, and the fireman's fighting it...like the
composition and color contrasts - the grays of the smoke and the barn,
green grass, a bright yellow of the fireman....

This shot does not work for me. There is nothing to connect the fireman
at the back of the building to a fire, he is sort of out of place in
what is a tranquill looking building sitting beside a corn field.

This one I like, shows what is going on with the firefighters and the
grain (or smoke) gives some tension.
