They did a solid job on my personal and exhibition work that I would like to praise them. The only noticeable "error" was some light bluish tint streaks on the photographs of the model which I believe was due to excessive burning on that area of her blouse or smudges from handling? Anyways, I won't be asking for a redo mainly because of time constraints (few weeks) and will be going up in about 2 weeks to show my portfolio and see how that goes. :) Hopefully I can have some room to display those at the LHSA meeting this year too. BTW, Duraflex paper is very nice and very strong paper relative to Fuji Crystal Archive. I will be talking with some friends and so far I'm thinking based on my friends' comments that 750 USD for each color print framed in alumninum and signed verso only (I don't like matted prints and signed on the front) is a reasonable offering on the first run. (The only exception is the "defective" model shot which is going for 600 USD reasonably.) It's exciting to see how well the Leica lenses hold down in greater enlargements. For example, one of my shots with the 1930's Summar is nice and sharp to the tee when stopped down. Apparently if HCB isn't afraid to blow up his 1950's collaspible Summicron pix to 16 to 20 inches, then most of the Leitz optics can hold their own perfectly well. Again, many thanks to the folks at PCL. Now it's the beginning of a new adventure to find some NYC galleries which are willing to display :) BTW, don't forget to check out the George Tice exhibit at ICP. Lovely and smashing documentary of buildings lost forever (esp. Atlantic City before the casinos took over in '76).
