Defending the banks usurious practices will win no applause anywhere except from a
roomful of bankers. Banks live or die because of OUR money, whether from a foreign
source (which a great deal of their "business" depends on) or not.

I've found U.S. banks accept Canada Post  U.S. dollar money orders with no hassle,
and Canadian banks should have no problem with USPS International Money orders. But
bank drafts, bank money orders and certified cheques drawn on a corresponding bank in
another country should cause no delay or fees either -- unless you put up with that.
