I seem to recall an article or review by Roger Hicks, where he espoused this 
particular combination for a "do everything" Leica M system. Does anyone 
recall the article and it's publication/date? Shutterbug, perhaps? 

I haven't read the article, but this seems to boil down to a 21+35 versus 
28+50 call--and I have always been in the later camp.
