I don't think simon was trying showing anything in focus at all.
Perhaps it's a joke ("you want mush, I'll give you mush. Don't need
to stinking Noctilux"), perhaps it's an artist's manifesto, or part
thereof. I don't think the photo was meant to ellicit the usual
"constructive criticism".
