Hummm Point taken ... that's what hurts. 30 years without service, then I let Leica service it, and its days of use are over. Leica used to make good stuff, but with this modern rangefinder variant ... I have my doubts. They've got a good reputation and can live a while on it, but I'd go for one of the older M's instead of the newer ones. I've always had rangefinder glitches. I didn't count that as "no problems" under the thirty years. Adjusting it was usually such a small task that it didn't bother me. Most repairmen can give it same day service. I've heard you can do it yourself, but I've never bothered.
