Now I'm trying to get them to provide me with a usable camera under the warranty period. Looks like I won't succeed. If only I could get my old rangefinder back, I'd be happy as a lark. It worked fine (when I didn't go around dropping it on granite cobble stones). I'll keep that address on file. I live in Sweden and Sweden doesn't have an authorized Leica repair service. That's why I sent it on down to Solms.
