When I lived there, my local colleagues seemed to think I was some sort of throwback because I couldn't play and instrument or even sing worth a damn. However, even at 5'9" I could dunk a basketball and keep a soccerball out of a goal which helped to repair my fallen social status. Some small accomplishment for all the time wasted on gang sports...
