... and Japanese too.  When I lived there, my local colleagues seemed to
think I was some sort of throwback because I couldn't play and instrument or
even sing worth a damn. However, even at 5'9" I could dunk a basketball and
keep a soccerball out of a goal which helped to repair my fallen social
status.  Some small accomplishment for all the time wasted on gang sports...

Don't forget Chinese kids. There are hundreds of Chinese kids practicing
scales as we speak.
