Black bears can be a cinnamon color, like this one munching on dandelions: http://www.wildlightphoto.com/yellowstone/munching.jpg Bison are ridiculously easy to photograph in Yellowstone. Even a dumb single-use camera is usable when the beasts are on the park road. Even so I enjoyed seeing the bison, and the sight of them crossing the yellowstone river was truly inspiring: http://www.wildlightphoto.com/yellowstone/crossing.jpg Both photos: Leicaflex SL2, E200 pushed one stop. bear: 560mm f/6.8 Telyt bison: 280mm f/4.8 Telyt with Televit rapid-focus grip Doug Herr Birdman of Sacramento http://www.wildlightphoto.com - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
