I do use the foam core board under the paper, but my workflow is:
1. Put a stack of paper, right side down, in the paper feed of the 3000.
2. Click print on the Peizo software.
3. Repeat for another print until I run out of paper.
4. Add more paper. Repeat.

I never clean anything!
