Hi Alfie,
There is a programm called "Applimac Slide Show" which helps to create a
standalone sresentation to distribute on CD-ROM. It is not really a book but
a multimedia slide show and you can add music. The problem is - it is
running only in the mac world.  You can get it at www.applimac.com
I donīt know if similar programs exist for windows.
