It is a sort of kilt, with tons of pouches and pockets, with a waistbelt and suspenders....It would seem preferable to a vest in that in warm weather you're not wearing an extra layer like a jacket without arms. It looks really weird - I wouldn't suggest it for informal shooting downtown ;-). But if you are on a job where everyone knows you're a photographer, and you need access to a lot of 'stuff,' it looks as though it might be useful. B. Here are a few ideas. 1. Try a photo vest. 2. The guys in the army have a utility outfit that has a pair of suspenders and a belt, that has many attachable pouches. See if you can find something like that. It may look funny, but it can hold a lot of weight. 3. There are some neck straps that zig-zag across your back and chest and over your shoulders so as not to put stress on your neck, so you can hang a bag that way .
