But >I doubt it! >Thanks >William Hi William, I have pulled my Tri-Elmar out of the dry box and it definitely has smooth opening of the aperture to F4.0 at all three focal lengths so, judging by mine, something seems to be binding in your lens. I agree with your assessment that it is a great lens - especially on a Hexar RF in AP mode with the added benefit of built in motor drive. A very very fast combination! Cheers, Howard.
